Testimonials

Highly Recommend

I would highly recommend Hall Place Equine, and Clare Mckinstry in particular. She loves and understands horses in quite a unique way and is always calm and professional. Clare has a great eye for a sound horse and I trust her judgement absolutely; she vetted my dressage mare and has since managed Firefly's Diva like demands with good humour and dedication. When it came to say goodbye to my 26 year old welsh D, Clare was there with her trademark compassion and professionalism and I couldn't have asked for more from my vet.

Reliable & Experienced

Hall Pace Equine have been my vets for over 3 years - I have found them to be all good vets, reliable, great communication skills, experienced and 100% sympathetic to my horse and myself in times of stress....My horse's welfare is covered by my vet.

Rigorous & Realistic

Clare McKinstry has been my equine vet for almost 10 years during which time she has impressed me with her professionalism and pragmatism in circumstances of both heartbreak and happiness! Her thoroughness and experience combined with acuity of observation inspire confidence. Her direct and candid explanations are balanced with empathy and sensitivity to the client's feelings and circumstances and she takes great pains to present all reasonable options. In particular Clare is my vet of choice for any suspected lameness issues and always for pre-purchase examinations (vettings). I know I can rely on her to be rigorous and realistic according to the intended purpose. She has courage of her convictions and is receptive to discussion of any finding and I would defer to her judgement at all times. I have recommended Clare with confidence on several occasions to give a second opinion to my own clients in which situations she always proceeds with courtesy to the incumbent vets.
